Before offering pet sitting services, we require an initial consultation to evaluate your pet’s needs. Max’s Pet Patrol asks that you inform us of any behavioral issues your pet may have. Please note that we reserve the right to refuse or discontinue services if a pet's behavior poses a risk to other pets, property, or our staff.
Please book pet sitting and dog walking services in advance to secure your preferred dates and times. Your reservation will be guaranteed only upon receiving an email confirmation from us. Kindly check your inbox for this confirmation to ensure your booking is secured. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please contact us immediately.
Payment for pet sitting services is required in full at the time you make your reservation. For dog walking services, payment is due when the service is provided. We accept payments through Zelle, Venmo, and cash only. Please note that we do not accept credit cards or checks.
We understand that circumstances may arise that require a change in plans. If you find it necessary to cancel, we would greatly appreciate advance notice, as this will allow us to better accommodate all of our clients.
Our policy is as follows:
- 8 or more days' notice: Full refund
- 3-7 days' notice: 50% refund
- 2 or fewer days' notice: No refund
Due to high demand during holiday periods, we have implemented a strict cancellation policy. Cancellations made within 14 days of your holiday booking may lead to the forfeiture of payment or a cancellation fee. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we strive to serve all our clients effectively.
Our pet sitters and dog walkers ensure constant supervision for your pets' safety. All walks will be on a leash to maintain control and minimize accidents. If your property isn't securely fenced, bathroom breaks and outdoor playtime will also be on a leash for safety.
We will notify the client in an emergency and arrange veterinary care as instructed. It's crucial to have a veterinarian's contact information and a signed veterinary release form on file for quick access to emergency care. An emergency contact person's details must also be provided before starting services. If we can't reach the pet owner, we'll immediately contact their designated emergency contact.
In adverse weather, your pet's safety is our top priority. While we aim to stick to our schedule, we may need to adjust or reschedule visits to ensure your pet's and our team's well-being. If weather conditions prevent safe travel to your home, we will notify you of any changes. We'll contact your designated emergency contact if we can't reach you.
Clients must provide keys or access codes for our pet sitters and dog walkers to enter their homes. Please disclose any home security measures, including alarm systems and security cameras. We require the gate code or card to access your neighborhood if you live in a gated community.
Clear and direct communication is essential. Clients must provide detailed instructions and preferences for pet care. We will consistently provide updates and communicate any concerns or observations during our visits, ensuring that clients are promptly informed.
Client information, including personal details and home security measures, will remain confidential and will be used solely to provide pet care services. We adhere to strict privacy policies and do not share client information with third parties.
Clients are fully responsible for any damages or injuries caused by their pets. Our pet sitters and dog walkers are not liable for incidents beyond their control, such as natural disasters or actions by third parties.
